The special troops of the Pak army along with the media representatives on Friday visited the Pashin and its outskirts and monitored the activities there.
The residents of the Pashin district warmly welcomed the deployment of army troops and these army troops, while passing through the bazaars and roads of the Pashin district, assured the people that Pak army is fully prepared to provide them security.
The army troops assured the people that the holding of peaceful elections would be ensured. The troops also carried out flag march in Quetta including other districts.
The people over the province , rejecting the announcement of shutter down and wheel jam strikes from the terrorist organizations, said that for holding the successful elections they refuse to accept any such announcements.
The people gained confidence with the steps taken by the Pak army and they announced to continue their efforts for participating in the upcoming elections.
All the media channels remained with Pak Army during their flag march so that the people can be assured that Pak Army is fully prepared to counter any kind of terrorism and to convey the message to the people that they should cast their vote without any fear.
Meanwhile, the deployment of 22, 000 troops in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been completed ahead of the polling day. Quick response force and helicopters will be used in the sensitive parts of the restive province.
According to reports, 22, 000 army men have been stationed in 18 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to maintain law and order on the polling day.
In sensitive parts of Peshawar and Mardan, armored vehicle have been provided to army men and helicopters will be used for aerial monitoring.
