Ch Nisar rushed to hospital with chest pain
Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was Friday night rushed to hospital after complaining about chest pain and shortness of breat.
According to sources, the minster started feeling pain in his chest in the evening.
Reportedly the pain was mild in the beginning but grew severer as the time passed.
He was taken to a private cardiac hospital where doctors cleared him of any heart problem after thorough examination.
“Nisar was alert and conscious during his meetings with doctors”.
Sources further added that before he was told that his heart was in a good conditon, the interior minister underwent different tests including angiography –performed by Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology’s (AFIC) former commandant Azhar Kayani.
“Cardilogists kept him under observation for some time before discharging him to home”, sources reported form the hospital.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Altaf Hussain, was one the first politicain, followed by Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, to issue a get-well-soon statement for the interior minister.
“I am cordially concerned about the condition of interior minster. May Allah bless him with good health”, said Hussain in a statement issued from London.
