ISLAMABAD: Different cities of Punjab, Balochistan and northwestern upper parts experienced rain of light to moderate intensity yesterday, with Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasting more downpour today.
According to PMD, a westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
The weather system will cause rain/thundershower coupled with gusty winds and isolated hailstorm at scattered places in Islamabad, Punjab, KP, FATA, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, north Baluchistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibbi, Nasirabad divisions), upper Sindh (Sukkur, Larkana divisions) during next 24 hours.
