RAWALPINDI:Director General Inter services Pakistan (ISPR) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that the death toll in earthquake in Balochistan has risen to 476, adding that 200 jawans of armed forces are busy in relief activities and militants have attacked six times on the military personnel.
Briefing media on Monday Saleem Bajwa said that the relief activities would continue till the rehabilitation of the quake victims. 182 kilometer area has been affected and 5300 tents, 207 ton food items have been provided to the afectees in the quake affected area, he added.
The person who targets the public property is a terrorist; DG said adding that armed forces are busy in relief work as well as providing security to the locals.
He said that 4 army personnel have been martyred during attacks of militants and 8 trucks of Rashan were stopped.
Responding to a question Asim Bajwa said that 476 have been died while 428 were seriously injured and 14 helicopters are busy in relief work.
