It has been suggested that the tribal influence should be used for immediately starting the dialogue process with Taliban. The recent Jirga in Peshawar was held to sort out modalities for the dialogue process.
The prime minister was informed about the recommendations. Meanwhile, Prime Minister said that all resources and influence would be used for restoring dialogue process, adding that no effort would be spared for the restoration of the peace in country.
Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and informed him about the recommendations of the jirga. The jirga demanded an end to drone strikes.
Meanwhile, the jirga while supporting the recommendations of the APC for peace has presented its services for the restorations of the dialogue process with Taliban.
According to sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman suggested to the prime minister to issue directions to Governor Khyaber Pakhtunkhawa to immediately contact with the tribal elders and make progress on the matter.
Prime Minsiter while supporting the suggestions of coalition party chief said he wants to move forward dialogue process for the restoration of peace in country. Prime Minister said all resources and influence would be used for this purpose.
Prime minister also thanked the tribes for extending cooperation in dialogue process with Taliban. Prime minister said that the government would not disappoint the tribal people for giving peace a chance. He said no stone would be left unturned for the restoration of the peace in country.
