Federal govt should provide Rs 50000 to each family of IDPs of NWA in Ramazan: Sirajul Haq

siraj ul haqAmir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has said that the federal government should provide Rs 50000 to each family of IDPs of North Waziristan Agency in Ramazan. He said continuation of military operation without timeframe would be harmful. He said masses of KPK and KPK PTI did not want dissolution of provincial assembly. He said Pakistanis should provide financial assistance to Al-Khidmat Foundation for the help of IDPs. He said al-Khidmat Foundation has worked for the welfare of the people in earthquake of Kashmir and Hazara and during drought in Tharparkar.

This he said while addressing a press conference here at JI office in Islamabad. Naib Amir JI Mian Muhammad Aslam and Islamabad district Amir JI Zubbair Farooq Khan were also present on the occasion.

He said task force comprising representatives of all parliamentary parties should be set up for the matters of IDPs and resolution of problem. He said Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif did not take the nation and political parties into confidence regarding the hurdles in the way of dialogue process and also about the failure of the dialogue process with Taliban.

Replying a question regarding the PTI Chief Imran Khan’s statement of dissolving Khayber Pakhtoonkhwa Assembly, Sirajul Haq said quitting government or not is a separate issue; however the masses of KPK and KPK PTI are also not in favour of dissolution of provincial assembly. He the people of KPK had posed trust on us in elections.

Sirajul Haq said that hundreds and thousands of IDPs have migrated towards Afghanistan, adding these people should return back 180 million Pakistanis would fulfill every need of their brethren. He said that the federal government while seeing the situation of FATA and KPK should declare KPK province as hard area and should resolve the problems of people.

He said federal government should have to convene APC prior to starting the military operation in North Waziristan. He said so far seven hundred thousand people have migrated from NWA. He also appealed to the electronic and print media to highlight the problems of IDPs. He said federal government has not made proper arrangements for the IDPs. He said the IDPs of NWA are facing severe problems, adding that the philanthropics should come forward for the assistance of IDPs.

Sirajul Haq said that Imran Khan has announced long march towards Islamabad, adding that the purpose of the long march is also not clear so far. Sirajul Haq said Imran has not made any consultation with JI regarding the matter. Replying a question he said that the evacuation of whole civilian population from NWA has not been completed so far.
