Federal policies affecting KPK development: Sirajul Haq
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Sirajul Haq, has blamed federal government’s policies for affecting developments in the KPK.
Addressing post-budget press conference, the minister said PTI-led coalition government in KPK has provided relief to poor masses in the budget.
Sirajul Haq on Saturday presented Rs 404.80 billion budget for year 2014-15 in the provincial assembly carrying Rs 139.80 billion ambitious Annual Development Program and ten percent increase in the salaries of the government employees.
“KPK is facing problems due to issues of central government. We provided relief to people and making effort to spend maximums funds on welfare of masses,” he said.
The minister said funds have also been set aside for local bodies elections in the province.
He said the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated an amount of 8.28 billion rupees in the budget for 93 health projects.
