Meanwhile, the foreign office strongly condemned the US drone strike inside Pakistan and had asked US to immediately stop drone strikes inside Pakistan.
Sources said that eight unmanned aircraft continued hovering over the area for many hours due to which the locals gripped into fear. The attack took place in Char Khel area of Boya in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
Identities of the deceased were not known. It was the second consecutive drone attack in 24 hours. Four persons were killed and four others were seriously wounded. The condition of the injured is critical. The drone fired two missiles on the house and flattened it.
In a statement‚ the Foreign office spokesman said these unilateral strikes are a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said that Pakistan has repeatedly emphasized the importance of bringing an immediate end to drone strikes.
He said that the Government of Pakistan has consistently maintained that drone strikes are counter-productive‚ entail loss of innocent civilian lives and have human rights and humanitarian implications. He said that such strikes also set dangerous precedents in the inter-state relations.
The spokesman said that these drone strikes have a negative impact on the mutual desire of both countries to forge a cordial and cooperative relationship and to ensure peace and stability in the region.
