According to “SANA” the government has succeeded to secure in concerned tribal areas for holding dialogues with Taliban. The prominent ulema and tribal elders has played vital role in this regard. These circles are enjoying full backing of government. The names of the representatives would be given. FATA would be centre of dialogues. The activities are also expected at official places of some settled districts in West of Khyaber Pakhtoonkhwa.
Meanwhile Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that homework into proposed talks with the Taliban has been completed after consultations with stakeholders, adding that these dialogues will be held soon.
He was speaking to participants of National Management Course on Tuesday.
Nisar said that National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) was being restored as basic authority of anti-terrorism.
He said that steps were also being taken to establish joint directorate of intelligence agencies for better coordination.
“We are setting up a Rapid Response Force,” he said, adding that force would swing into action in case of a terrorist attack.
The interior minister said that effective laws are being introduced to protect witnesses. He said that the government would boost cooperation amongst security agencies for intelligence sharing.
