Speaking to media persons after launching a new cargo train, Rafique said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was misleading the nation. “We will grant permission to PTI for staging the rally only if it guarantees a peaceful protest,” he remarked.
He, however, said that there won’t be any law and order issue on November 30.
The railways minister urged Khan to mitigate the sufferings of temporary displaced persons (TDPs) instead of baton-charging them.
He said that Chinese investment was coming and that the railway would take off soon.
The minister recalled that Imran Khan and Pervaiz Khattak have been declared absconders in their own province.
