ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Chairman Tehreek Insaf Pakistan Imran Khan Sunday said a legal notice was being sent to Maulana Fazalur Rehman over provocative accusations; meanwhile talking to a private TV cannel the spokesman of JUI-F Jan Achakzai said his party is ready to face legal proceedings and will provide proofs of allegations against Imran Khan in court.
While addressing a press conference here on Sunday Imran Khan said he would appear before the Supreme Court of Pakistan with full preparation and would defend himself in contempt of court case.
“Free judiciary is the first point in the manifesto of PTI and we have always been in the frontline in its defence,” he said.
The PTI chief said he could never think about insulting the courts; adding he only raised a legitimate objection regarding the role of Returning Officers in the general elections.
Imran said PTI would issue a White Paper regarding the large scale rigging in the general elections 2013 on 16th of August.
“These were the most controversial elections in the history of Pakistan,” Imran said.
He said tax evasion was the major problem of Pakistan and root cause of all other problems.
“PML-N government has put all pressure on the poor people by price-hike instead of taking action against tax evaders,” he said; adding honest people were paying the price for the corruption of rich.
To a question about attack on Dera Ismail Khan Jail, the PTI chief said CM Khyber-Paktunkhwa Khattak would soon issue an inquiry report about the incident.
Imran Khan said that he would sue Maulana Fazlur Rehman for calling him Jewish lobbyist. Imran Khan said that Maulana Fazalur Rahman accused him of Jewish agent; hence he would take him to the court.
He said that there is bad situation for investors when they see increase in dollar price, debt up to 60 billion rupees increased. “Inflation has gone very high in the last three years”, he said.
The PTI chief said that the government should end all problems including corruption.
Khan said that electricity prices have increased from 35% to 75% and this situation will further crush the poor people of the country. ‘PMLN government should tackle this issue’ he said. He said that the electricity load shedding is the biggest problem facing by the country.
