ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique Friday chewed up the leaders of the anti-government protest sit-ins -underway in the federal capital’s ‘Red Zone’– for allegedly blowing Rs550 billion ‘hole’ to the national economy,
“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s Dr Tahirul Qadri’s egoistic bullheadedness has led to the cancellation of Chinese president’s visit to Pakistan”, Rafique said in a statement issued here.
An enraged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) minister went as far as saying that both the leaders were undermining Operation Zarb-e-Azb, a major military offensive against Taliban militants in North Waziristan.
He said both Imran and Qadri were suffering from the megalomania that they were some kind of saints and their rivals thieves, killers, and dacoits.
“They also think their rowdy club-wielding followers are hallowed angels”, Rafique added.
Pushing his tirade ahead, he said the PTI-PAT leaders had sown the ‘wind’ and would very soon reap the ‘whirlwind’.
“The crop of hatred, the are seeding now, will take both the leaders a long time to harvest”, said he.
