Imran regrets end of Hashmi’s political career
ISLAMABAD: Expressing his joy over the result of October 16 Multan by-election lost by his defector, Javed Hashmi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said he feels sorry for his deserter, who is on his last legs in politics.
Addressing the anti-government protesters encamped opposite Parliament House, he said, “It has become clearly evident to all and sundry as to who met honor and who was utterly disgraced.”
The people of Multan, he asserted, have given their verdict, adding Javed Hashmi’s political career is on the brink of its expiry; he feels sorry for him on this count.
