Speaking to media representatives outside the Parliament House in the federal capital, Rashid said 307 members of the National Assembly would not participate in the PTI long march scheduled to be held on August 14 and added that with only 25 participating lawmakers from the NA, the PTI’s tsunami would be a solo flight.
The information minister said PTI’s march was a one-day event which would transform into a quick march.
He further said work of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) would be increased as a result of the march.
Rashid appealed to the PTI chief that the present time was not suitable for a long march but for the welfare of IDPs from North Waziristan. He said Khan should live peacefully and allow others to do the same.
