“I doubt Nawaz Sharif has the moral courage to bring to fore the ‘factual’ details of his ‘real’ assets worldwide. I will rest my case right here right now if prime minister shows his ‘hole cards’ “, Khan sounded off while addressing a throng of charged party workers protesting in Islamabad’s ‘Red Zone’.
Cricketer-turned-politician Khan and populist cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri have gathered thousands of supporters in Islamabad since August 14 calling on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign over what they claim was massive rigging of the 2013 election.
Throwing down another gauntlet to PM Sharif, Khan swore to retire as politician if even a single of his asset was found undeclared or not in his name.
“All of my assets, the details of which have now been published online, are in my name. I do not have any ghost ownerships like the Sharifs and their lot”, he said.
He said Sharif would be trapped if the contets of his ‘deep pocket’ went public.
“Sharif will not do it because he knows it will be his political death”, said he.
During the course of his prime time address, the PTI leade also announced to mark Friday as ‘Go Nawaz Go Day.’
“We will observe ‘Go Nawaz Go Day’ here on Friday. I am also expecting a sea of people in the PTI protest zone”, declared Khan vowing to burn his Islamabad’s residence’s electricity bill.
