LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan has said that the Taliban’s categorical denial of their involvement in the Peshawar bomb blasts made it absolutely clear that there was India’s hand in the terrorist and subversive activities in the country.
In a statement here on Monday, he said that the former Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, had stated on record more than once that he had irrefutable evidence of India’s involvement in terrorist activities in Balochistan and other parts of the country. Besides, he said, the Indian General V.K. Singh had also admitted that they had set up a special group to carry out terrorist activities in Pakistan. These statements established the fact that actually it was the Indian RAW, CIA and Mosad which were involved in the killings of our innocent citizens in different parts of the country but cunningly linked it with the Taliban.
The JI Ameer said, the question was why, in spite of these proofs, the Pakistani rulers were informing the world at large that India was involved in terrorist activities in the country.
He said that whenever there was headway in the dialogue with the Taliban and some effort for restoring peace in the country was made, the hidden hand became active, there was a surge in drone attacks and bomb blasts, and all efforts for bringing terrorism to an end were negated.
Syed Munawar Hasan said in clear terms that the nation would not allow any U turn on the Kashmir issue and if the rulers tried to drift from the country’s accepted stance on Kashmir and to resolve the Kashmir issue in line with the wishes of India and without the consent of the Kashmiris, it would be tantamount to a conspiracy against the national interests. He impressed upon the Pakistani rulers not to play on India’s pitch and stick to the Pakistan’s principled stance.
The JI Ameer said that Indian Premier Manmohan Singh had spitted venom against Pakistan at the UN General Assembly before his meeting with Mian Nawaz Sharif which proved that India was simply trying to show to the world that it wanted to resolve all issues with this country through dialogue but it had never been honest in that.
He said, in fact India considered Pakistan as the biggest obstacle in the establishment of her supremacy in the region and was therefore availing every opportunity to harm this country.
