ISLAMABAD: Condemning him for his libelous claims, Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid Friday night challenged Imran Khan to prove Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif owned any business/property abroad.
“Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) better not mislead people with his pack of prevarications. It’s time he started speaking the truth”, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) minister said in his counterblast to allegations Khan leveled against the Sharif family in his Sargodha speech.
Rashid said that it was to inform Khan sahib that Sharif family had no stake whatsoever in the erstwhile Ittefaq Foundries.
“Since prime minister’s family has not been in that business for the last 18 years, then why is Khan bent on selling this slanderous nonsense to nation?”, Rashid said.
The minister added that Ittefaq Foundries, now owned by the banks, were lying cold since long.
