MANSEHRA, (SANA): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ( PML-N ) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that he has already conducted nuclear tests and would now follow that up with an economic boom in the country.
The PML-N began its election campaign with a rally held here on Monday and while addressing a massive gathering of the people, Nawaz Sharif spoke of his short tenures in power, adding that if he was given the opportunity to govern for 10 years he could have changed the destiny of the country.
Expressing his displeasure over the past incident of his exile, He said that he was not traitor, adding that why he was expelled from the country.
“I was not allowed to govern for more than two years, yet the motorway was constructed and Pakistan was made into a nuclear power,” he said.
According to the PML-N president, if his party was elected a motorway from Karachi to Lahore would be constructed.
“Masses should beware of those who lead them down the garden path and vote wisely,” Nawaz Sharif said.
Nawaz Sharif warned that if the people did not elect the PML-N, load shedding, terrorism and economic problems would continue in the country.
Speaking on the formation of a Hazara province, Nawaz Sharif said that he would be happy if a province was formed however there should also be a revolution in the lives of people.
Promising development works in the area, Nawaz Sharif said his party government would set up an airport in Mansehra and construct a motorway from Hasan Abdal to Mansehra to facilitate the people of the region. He said that only PML-N can recover economy.
He said that Mansehra would be developed in such a way that it would become at par with Karachi and Peshawar. He said only PML-N can bring a real change in the country.
“There is need to build new roads in Mansehra. I love the people of Mansehra as much as the people of Lahore,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif said that his party would carry out developments across the country after coming into power.
He said that he had to face a lot of difficulties, but made no compromise on my party’s manifesto.
“I don’t know how to tell a lie. I will carry out a record development works in Mansehra,” he added.
