LAHORE: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said the government was trying hard to make peace talks successful without bloodshed, reiterating that the government was all serious for dialogue process with Taliban. He said that the dialogue process with the Taliban is moving forward smoothly. Nawaz said he personally was monitoring the whole process of dialogues, adding that the people present in both committees are respectable, adding now these committee would move forward the dialogue process. He the ball is now in the court of the Taliban, adding that the Taliban would have to show seriousness. He said the interior minister would monitor the dialogue process.
While talking to media persons after holding meeting with writers, senior journalists and editors of the newspaper at the Al-hamra Hall Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government is serious to overcome terrorism through dialogue as peace is vital to ensure revival of economy. He said restoration of peace through dialogues will the best option for the country.
He welcomed the names of the committee members nominated by Taliban to hold talks with government committees and hoped a positive outcome of the dialogue.
Nawazs Sharif said the government intends to hold talks with Taliban all seriousness to bring peace in the society.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the ongoing dialogue process with Taliban and hoped that both the committees will move forward in positive direction to bring peace in the country. He said he himself is supervising the dialogue process and the interior minister is fully in touch with government committee to assist in bringing a positive outcome.
Nawaz Sharif said the government intends to resolve all internal issues with dialogue including Balochistan problem. He said all possible measures will be taken to bring back the alienated groups into political mainstream, adding that the chief minister Balochistan has been tasked to hold dialogues with the angry Baloch leaders. He said there is no reason to believe that all internal issues could be settled through dialogue with concerned stakeholders.
The Prime Minister said we inherited a number of problems but the government is committed to overcome these issues through dialogue and move the country on the path of progress.
He said Pakistan also intends to resolve all outstanding issues with its neighbors including India and Afghanistan and Pakistan with a view to bring peace and stability in the region, and that could lead to sustainable socio-economic development of the people.
He welcomed the team announced by Taliban to hold talks with government’s committee and hoped the dialogue will yield positive outcome.
Nawaz Sharif said the government will hold talks with all seriousness to bring peace to the country. Nawaz said it was his desire that the dialogue process should be successful, adding that the government has shown seriousness and now Taliban should also show seriousness. He said that the whole nation should pray for the success of the dialogue process. Nawaz said wherever his assistance would be required he would be available for this purpose. He said government, army and all state institutions are backing the dialogue process and want to make these dialogues successful.
Meanwhile talking to senior journalist Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government is serious to overcome terrorism through dialogue as peace is vital to revive the economy.

He said he himself is supervising the dialogue process and the Interior Minister is fully in touch with government committee to assist in bringing a positive outcome. He said that the dialogues should be resulted in success so that the giant of terrorism could be overcome in country. Nawaz said he will say not anything which could harm the dialogue process.
