In a statement on Sunday, he said that figures have been tampered and fudged in the budget to cover forty-one billion rupees shortfall in the budget to make it appear as a balanced budget.
He said that 71 percent of the total budget will be spent on salaries, leaving merely twenty-nine percent for development which is very little for the development. He said PTI should have curtailed its administrative and non-development expenditure to spend the money on welfare of the common people.
Pervaiz Rashid said another contradiction of PTI appears by accepting foreign aid from USAID, British and Germans against its claims of not going to the United States and their actions of staging protests and road blockades against the United States and NATO.
Pervaiz Rashid said the PTI criticized PML-N for Metro Bus Project, terming the forty billion rupees project as Jangla Bus, but the KPK government is itself planning to get two hundred and thirty billion rupees for a small city like Peshawar.
Pervaiz Rashid questioned that if there is peace in Peshawar, why traders, industrialists, doctors and others are leaving Peshawar? He said a token amount of two hundred million rupees has been earmarked for Urban Transport System.
