No talks with PTI under shadow of threats: Saad

saad rfqISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Saad Rafique here on Sunday said talks with Pakistan Tehreek i Insaf (PTI) cannot be held under the shadow of threats.

In a statement, the minister said people will reject the call of Imran Khan for closing down of cities and businesses  will remain open.

He said the strategies to deal with a decent person and a vile person are different, adding the government was being forced
to hold negotiations by putting its head under sword.

Imran Khan is playing into the hands of anti-state forces, he said adding the PTI leader tried to divide the nation on the Independence Day of Pakistan.

He said Imran Khan should show tolerance and restraint and should not take decisions in hurry.

The minister said the government will talk to Imran Khan after he ends his agitation on December 16.

Imran Khan can become dangerous for the integrity of Pakistan, he said adding Imran decided to close down Pakistan on the occasion of anniversary of tragedy of Dhaka.

He questioned why Imran Khan did not put his allegations of publishing of extra ballots before the election tribunals
