According to Samaa correspondent, the PM presided over a high-level meeting to hold consultation with his key cabinet members, legal experts and military officials to take some important decisions about national security issues.
On the other hand, the Anti-Terrorism National Action Plan (ATNAP) Committee met today to deliberate the recommendations finalized by the 10-member Working Group.
Federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan chaired the meeting and took the parliamentarians into confidence over recommendations meant to uproot terrorism from the country.
According to sources, the working group proposed buttressing the National Counter-Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and reinvigorating the intelligence system. –
