LONDON: Afghanistan And Britain will jointly host London Conference meant to brainstorm different issues facing Afghanistan including reforms and challenges regarding the restoration of peace and economy.
The two-day event will begin in London today.
Afghan president Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif, British PM David Cameron and US Secretary of State John Kerry will participate in the conference that also aims to raise some funds for cash-strapped Afghanistan.
It should be mentioned here that British premier invited Pakistani PM to attend the conference. The foreign ministry of Pakistan said that PM Sharif’s attendance in the conference is a clear proof that Pakistan proactively participates in the international efforts for peace, stability and progress in Afghanistan.
