The joint conference of all parliamentary parties will be held at Governor House Peshawar at 11am this morning in the backdrop of yesterday’s massive terrorist incident at army-run school that claimed lives of at least 141 people including 132 schoolchildren.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan also promised to attend the meeting, saying, “It is about time to soar beyond all political interests and limitations.”
“I will attend the meeting called by the PM tomorrow morning to reassure the nation that we are united at this time of national tragedy,” Khan said in a tweet.
Several other leaders including Aftab Sherpao and Aijazul Haq assured to attend the meeting.
Reacting yesterday to the bloodiest incident in the national history, premier Sharif remarked the terrorist attack in school gave a wholly renewed determination to the whole nation, adding, “We will hold the culprits to account for each and every drop of our children’s blood.”
He also maintained that it is time for the entire nation to stand united against the terrorists by keeping aside their differences.
