PML-N decides to sit on opposition benches in Balochistan Assembly

QUETTA, (SANA): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Saturday decided to sit on opposition benches while submitting resignations from ministries in the Balochistan Assembly.

Addressing a joint press conference along with Ismail Gujjar, Captain Abdul Khaliq, Tahir Mahmud, Humayun Aziz and Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani here, the PML-N provincial President Sardar Sanaullah Zehri said that PML-N would play its role as an opposition party in the assembly.

He said all PML-N ministries are submitting their resignations in Balochistan. Zehri said his party has held talks with like-minded and independent candidates. The so-called rulers following a policy of give-and-take, adding that this policy would not be accepted.

He said that a partial caretaker government would not be tolerated in the province. He claimed several PML-Q members have contacted PML-N. He said that the PML-N has support of nearly 30 to 40 MPAs. He said that it was responsibility of the government to resolve any constitutional matters.

He said that the decision of chief minister and governor regarding the caretaker set up in the province. He said that the president house is directly interfering in the matters of the province, which is the violation of the 18th, 19th and 20th amendments. He said that many leaders from the Balochistan are joining PML-N, adding that PML-N under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif would address the grievances of the masses of Balochistan after coming into power.

He said that the PML-N has finalized two names for the caretaker CM, adding that these include one politician and other is retired judge. He said that the PML-N will reveal these names at the provincial assembly. He said that the caretaker set up should be installed in the Balochsitan like Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa.
