LAHORE, (SANA): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to remove the heads of thecorporations running in loss and the decision would be implemented in few days after taking oath by the PML-N President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as new prime minister of the country. Meanwhile Main Nawaz Sharif said that all available resources would be used to eliminate load shedding in the country.
During a party meeting chaired by Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif held at Raiwind here on Wednesday, it was decided that the appointments would be made by giving advertisements in the newspapers instead of making use of powers by the prime minister.
It was decided in the meeting that the eligible people would be appointed and the heads of Pakistan international Airlines (PIA) Pakistan Steels Mills and other institutions would be transferred as these corporations are running in loss of more than Rs 400 billions and the PML-N by saving that money would resolve the issue of circular debt of the electricity and through this the energy crises would be overcome.
Main Nawaz Sharif said that during the initial phase, unannounced load shedding would be stopped. The meeting discussed different options to eliminate the energy crisis in the country and the meeting was attended by Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Sartaj Aziz, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervez Rasheed, Shaukat Tareen, Mian Mansha and renowned energy experts.
Nawaz Shairf said that everyone had to work day and night to eliminate load shedding and options such as generating energy via coal and sugarcane would require time.
The PML-N President added that both local and foreign businessmen need to invest in the energy sector.
