Revolution will come only through ballot: Nawaz

nwaz glass Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that ‘revolution’ will come only through ballot in country. He said that operation “Zarb-e-Azab” against terrorists in North Waziristan Agency will succeed with the blessings of Almighty Allah, adding Pakistan will succeed in this war. The Prime Minister said some elements are working for vested interests.

Meanwhile Prime Minister has decided to take all political leaders into confidence over country’s prevailing situation. In this regard, he will soon summon a meeting of political leaders. The Prime Minister said operation Zarb-e-Azb has been launched to wipe out terrorists and bring peace in the country.

During a meeting with a delegation led by Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council Ramzan Chaudhry, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said a revolution in Pakistan could only be achieved via polls. He said all sanctuaries of terrorists will be destroyed so that they could not reestablish them.

He said Pakistani nation stands by the armed forces and expressed the confidence that security forces will be successful in flushing out the terrorists.

Referring to slogans of revolution by some politicians, he said they are working for vested interests and only revolution in Pakistan will come through the ballot.

The Prime Minister said country will be put on the path of progress and development by overcoming energy crisis. He said China is helping Pakistan in Gadani and Port Qasim projects. He said that the electricity crisis would be overcome during the tenure of PML-N.

Nawaz Sharif said fate of Pakistan will be changed during tenure of the incumbent democratic government. He said they are all standing together for the supremacy of law.

The Prime Minister said that the country’s integrity in the world will be improved and trade ties with the world community will also be strengthened. He said that the terrorists foiled the efforts of brining peace in country through dialogue process, adding that government will not leave the IDPs alone in the hour of trial.

He said that all are united for the supremacy of the constitution. He said that Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch made Chief Minister Balochistan in national interest. Federal Information Minister Senator Parvez Rashid, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt and others were present in the meeting.
