Saudi Crown Prince arrives Pakistan

salaman-e1340036407796ISLAMABAD: Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud arrived in Islamabad on Saturday on a three day visit to Pakistan.

He was greeted at the PAF Airbase by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and members of the federal cabinet.

The distinguished guest was given 19-gun salute when he alighted from the special aircraft.

Two children attired in Pakistani traditional costumes presented bouquets to the Crown Prince.

National Anthems of the two countries were played and a smartly turned contingent drawn from three services presented guard of honour.  The Crown Prince inspected the guard of honour and took the salute.

Meanwhile Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has ordered highest level of security during the visit of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

In a directive he has requisitioned the services of army’s 111 Brigade to supplement the capacity of police and civil armed forces in ensuring the security of the honorable guests.

Interior Minister has also directed the Ministry of Interior to provide aerial surveillance to the security agencies at all times required in order providing an optimum level of security to the honorable guests round the clock.

The Interior Minister’s directions in the matter reflect the closeness of relations between the two countries and the close fraternal bond that exists between the two brotherly countries.
