Supreme Court of Pakistan taking notice of malicious program of private TV channel (ARY) has directed the Attorney General (AG) Salman Aslam Butt to read the script of the program and submit the reply after inquiry by today (Wednesday) that who is raising the issues regarding conflict between the state institutions, who is hell bent upon destroying the state institutions and who is behind the such malicious programs being telecasted on private TV channel.
Three-member bench of SC comprising Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Gulzar Ahemd and Justice Dost Muhammad Khan heard the Missing person Sultan Hussain Shan and case of 35 missing persons of Malakand internment on Tuesday.
The apex court judge Justice Jawwad ruled out the allegations levelled in the program of private TV stating that there in no conflict between state institutions, adding that if we could not succeeded to overcome the situation if failed to control in-eligibility.
Justice Jawwad remarked that he was shocked as Director General Intelligence Bureau (DG,IB) and Interior Secretary claimed that they were not aware of the banners placed in federal capital. There are two possibilities that both officers are extremely in-eligible or extremely ignorant, he said.
Justice Jawwad said that the script of private TV program alleged me (Jawad) that I have personal enmity with Pak Army but it is totally against the facts, adding that the truth should become before the masses and if it is proved that I have personal enmity with Army than action should also be taken against me as well.
Addressing to Attorney General Justice Jawwad said that we have to thankful to Farzandan-e-Islam (a so called organisation) who have placed only banners instead of the bomb blasts in the red zone area.
It is a dangerous issue because ISPR also monitor the things and whole world has heard the program of private TV, Justice Jawwad said adding that the matter should be probed.
Later the court addressing to AG observed that if there is some thing confidential in reports regarding the missing persons court would take briefing in-camera but prior to that you have to satisfy the court that progress is being made to recover them.
The court adjourned the hearing of Missing person Sultan Hussain Shan and case of 35 missing persons of Malakand internment till today.
It is worth mentioning here that apex court also has fixed another case detached from Geo’s petition against the malicious banners against Judiciary placed in Islamabad today.
