Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif , while chairing a meeting pertaining to law and order situation in the province, has directed the authorities to further improve the security in the province and make it foolproof.
The chief minister presiding over a meeting on law and order here on Friday directed the authorities in the province to remain watchful and keep their eyes open to apprehend the terrorists before they could do any damage to life and property.
Shahbaz Sharif said that implementation of the security plan must be ensured, strict checking at all the exit/entry roads to the province be conducted and the law and order situation in the province be monitored, especially on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali.
Chief Minister expressed satisfaction on the performance of Punjab police. The report of Pind Arayan incident was presented during the meeting. Chief Minister directed to ensure the arrest of the accused who managed to flee.
Chief Minister also congratulated the police authorities, saying that the police took the action in time and killed the terrorists. Shahbaz Sharif stressed that the terrorists who have fled should be arrested at all cost so that any untoward incident should be avoided.
Shahbaz Sharif said that it is the utmost effort of the government to protect the life and property of the people and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
Chief Minister directed the law enforcing institutions to improve their intelligence work with all the other agencies. Chief Minister said that all the resources will be utilized for ensuring the protection of life and property of the people.
