ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid says Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif spends more time bashing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran than helping victims of the superfloods that have drowned hundreds and displaced thousands in his province.
“Shahbaz is suffering from Imran-o-phobia. Khan, who is the ultimate political nemesis of Sharifs, is on his nerves always. The CM and his PM brother know their time is up”,
The top PTI ally Rashid, whose wild political prophesies has earned him a quite a following, reiterated he was seeing 2015 as the election year.
“I am afraid, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will not be able to see his term through. It’s a given. New general elections will be held next year. The rest is history”, said Rashid, who co-led the anti-government long march with Khan.
He said Khan would not go home without first sending Nawaz packing.
Rashid in a sweeping statement dubbed the ruling parliamentarians as the product of military dictatorship.
“They are all the beneficiaries of junta rule. Democracy is as alien to them as anything”, said he.
