To overcome terrorism in country responsibility of govt: Shah

shahISLAMABAD, (SANA): Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that they all have to join hands to fight anti-state elements, adding that it was the responsibility of the government to overcome the menace of terrorism in country.

Khurshid Shah said it is the fight between the human and the beast, adding opposition will support the government in its every decision to eliminate this menace.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah‚ Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah and Senator Raza Rabbani visited Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar on the directions of former president Asif Ali Zardari and inquired about the health of the injured people of twin suicide blasts at the Peshawar church.

The opposition leader said ‘we have to make our decisions without going weak’. He said dialogues did not mean to bow before anyone.

He said Chinese were killed before the prime minister’s visit to China and now Peshawar church blasts took place when the premier left for the US. Khursheed Shah said that we all must be united and stand strong against terrorism.

Shah said that it is not only the war of the PML-N’s government but of all parties and we need to give the terrorists bold reply. ‘If we show weakness, the terrorists will launch more attacks’ he said. He said that the all parties’ conference had given the mandate of holding dialogues with Taliban to government, adding that now it is up to the government to hold dialogues with the Taliban. He said that the recent incidents of terrorism have harmed the dialogue process, adding that the recent incidents of terrorism have sabotaged the dialogue process. He said it was not possible to hold talks beside terrorist incidents.

While condemning the Peshawar church blasts that killed 83 people on Sunday, he said that we all should stand together and get the terrorists arrested.

Syed Khurshid Shah said that terrorist attacks were meant to sabotage the proposed talks with Taliban for peace.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah called for national unity to counter terrorism and extremist. He said that the whole families were perished in the result of suicide attacks.
