Zardari tries to woo MQM into Sindh government

zardari-and-goverrner-sindh-600x330The reports regarding the renewed closeness between two large stakeholders in Sindh—Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), are in the air as the MQM leaders met former President Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai. In a frenzied effort to iron out the kinks in the frayed ties, the two sides sat across the table where the MQM was invited to join the Sindh government. Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan flew here from Karachi and the deputy convener of Muttahida’s Rabta Committee Nadeem Nusrat reached here from Dubai. PPP leader Owais Muzaffar was present on the occasion. The sources disclosed that Nadeem Nusrat brought to the fore his party’s reservations. Asif Ali Zardari assured the resenting party that all of its grievances will be removed. On the occasion, the two sides agreed to give a better turn to their ties and decided to form a committee comprising members from the two political parties for the purpose
